Creation of Our Logo
How the new Mint Ultimate logo was created was an accident more than anything, or perhaps it was fate. Here is the story of how Mint teamed up with Reddprime.
In mid 2015, a designer from South Africa's Cape Town by the name of Mitch Horn, a.k.a Reddprime, tagged Mint Ultimate on Instagram with some logo concepts (given that ours needed a vast improvement and was being critiques by the masses).

I was impressed by the concepts and decided to approach Reddprime via email. As a startup, we bartered, and Reddprime was generous enough to take our deal of free gear to create the front horse that would serve to represent the entirety of the brand and its products.
We discussed themes, concepts, and what I wanted Mint to be, to represent, and to be known as. We went through countless iterations and hours of discussion and research, and each viewing was a masterpiece of it's own, but just slightly off what we had envisioned. Eventually, it came down to just a simple equation that combined the element of the bolt, the M, and the crescent of the old logo to create something incredible. It was love at first sight, and I knew that this would be the trojan horse that will one day be known to be unified with the sport of ultimate itself.
